A Note From Rob ...

But when he came to himself he said, "How many of my father's hired hands have bread enough and to spare, but here I am dying of hunger!" (Luke 15:17)
"The Prodigal"

This week’s Gospel lesson is from Luke chapter 15. In this passage, we have the lost; the lost coin, sheep and son(s).

I add the possibility of both sons being lost because while the story only speaks of one son being lost away from home the story seems to tell us of the other son being lost as well.

Please take the time to read the stories, one a day. Please read them slowly. Find yourself in each story. Where are you in the story of he lost sheep? How about the lady with the lost coin? In the story of the prodigal so, where are you?

I look forward to spending some time with you on Sunday as we look at ourselves, scripture abd the God of the Word.

     Remember to Spring forward!!
